There are hundreds of privately run weather stations in the UK and the world, putting them in the map is the idea behind this. People work hard to create their sites and share they're hobby with the world. At times of weather extremes these site are key in providing details of local weather conditions.

This page  includes links to numerous weather view webcams located around the UK,  Ireland, North Atlantic and Europe and is growing all the time to  include Worldwide cams. Click on a pointer to view an individual webcam  and click the camera image to visit their local web site. Use the zoom  feature (top left) to zoom out and view more distant webcams or zoom  into detail and scroll/drag the map around the screen using your mouse  to view new regions.

I will try and check the sites on the map are still live however if you spot one that isn't then please use the contact us page to send me a message to let me know. If you know of a webcam that isn't on the map again please use the contact us page to tell me about it!

The map uses the same common controls as Google maps, double click on an area to zoom in, grab the map to move about by clicking the left mouse button and moving the mouse. To view a preview of the webcam click on the balloon, to then visit the webcam click on the webcam image.
